Sunday School Print E-mail

Christian Education classes are offered each Sunday during the school year at 9–9:50 am for three-year-olds and continuing through adulthood.

The youngest children are introduced to Jesus at Children's Chapel, held in the nursery.  Children are welcome to stay until communion, at which time we encourage them to join their families.

Classes for first through fifth grade follow the Episcopal Children's Curriculum, a program well-grounded in scripture and the Episcopal tradition.  Middle school students use the Living the Good News curriculum, exploring the day's lectionary through a variety of activities.

High School Youth Group meets on Sunday mornings as well.  This year they are studying A Walk with Christ to the Cross and preparing for their pilgrimage in Washington, DC, at the end of the school year.

Adults study the day's readings under the able leadership of Robin Rieper.  Each week, extensive research into history and Bible commentaries supports the work of the group as they discuss the lessons together.

The last day of Sunday school for the 2006–2007 year is May 20. 2007.  We will be cleaning up the park across the street.  Wear work clothes and bring work gloves.
