Pastoral care comes in many ways, shapes and forms at Calvary Cathedral and pastoral support is available to all members of the congregation for day-to-day issues as well as in times of personal crisis.

We are a nurturing family who cares for each other in various ways.  We have a very strong prayer chain and have been called prayer warriors on many an occasion as well as strong Lay Eucharistic Ministry (LEM) team and a staff of Deacons as well as clergy.

Our LEM's take Holy Communion to those who are ill and in the hospital and our staff of Deacons visit those in the hospital and housebound for Holy Communion and friendly visits and prayer.

When a member of the church or their family member has been hospitalized or has a planned hospitalization, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer assistance and care.  Please do not assume the church knows about the illness, we would rather receive several notifications rather than none at all.

Private, confidential confessions are available by appointment with the clergy.  They can offer spiritual direction and guidance for those interested in deepening their spiritual life.

Please contact the Cathedral offices with your prayer needs or submit them online. No names or contact information are necessary to be included in our prayers, however if you want to include them and be contacted, please feel free to do so.

For more information please call (605) 336-3486 or e-mail us.
