Developing a Vision for the Cathedral to Begin in September
At its recent retreat, the Vestry outlined a process to gather input from the entire congregation to develop a vision for what we want to do as a Cathedral during the next three to five years.
Initially Dean Simpson will recruit a Planning Team of three to five persons to guide the process.
Early in the fall that team will begin informal discussions with both existing groups and informal gatherings of parishioners. In early November, based upon the information gathered, a vision statement will be drafted and shared with the congregation.
Later that month and through December, there will be additional occasions, formal and informal, for parishioners to give further input so that a final document may be presented to the annual meeting for its affirmation.

There is a table in the Lewis Commons Atrium designated for the purpose of displaying items for sale and making sales.
Any group or person wanting to make sales to the congregation will sit at the table and will not circulate through the Commons area.
1. Anyone wishing to sell fundraiser items or solicit donations for an organization not associated with the Cathedral must have the approval of the Dean and Vestry for both the organization and the items to be sold.
2. Each person should have a statement of what group or effort the sale will benefit and the size of the display should be limited to 11"x17". Those selling the same item for the same group should share a single display. The displays may be placed on the table if there is room or hung on the wall behind the table.
3. Each person involved in sales will wear a name tag with their first and last names.
4. Each salesman under 13 years of age must have a parent in attendance.
Sales Stipulations:
If items purchased are not delivered immediately at the time of the sale, each purchaser will receive a receipt stating the sellers name and contact number, number and price of items purchased, whether the items have been paid for and the expected date of delivery (the Cathedral can assist with supplying receipts, you will need to contact the office in advance).
Donation Stipulations:
If requested, each person making a donation, will be provided a receipt including their name, the full name of the organization, the amount of the donation, the date and the full name of the person collecting the donation (the Cathedral can assist with supply receipts, you will need to contact the office in advance).
