The Outreach Committee has many different activities throughout the year!  They are committed to bettering the lives of those in our community and abroad.  

For 2009 the Outreach Committee has chosen to focus funding on The Family Connection, Community Outreach, The Good Shepherd Center, and the South Sudan Education Project.

Highlights from some of the 2008 events:

During the months of  November and December, we will be hosting the Alternative Gift Mini-Markets between services at Calvary Cathedral. Members will have the opportunity to purchase unique gifts for the person who has everything!  More information to come…

In late August, Community Blood Bank Mobile received 18 units of blood from members of our congregation.

Outreach also sponsored a collection of items for the Sioux Falls Humane Society.

An Animal Blessing was held in October for pets of our members. We even had a hedgehog to bless! Fr. Charles King did the honors, while Holly made take-home boxes of goodies for all the four-legged participants.

A House-Warming was held in February for The Family Connection.
